ℹ️ Overview: Edlio Supply Lists are powered through our partnership with TeacherLists. Supply lists can be linked and displayed directly in the Edlio Mobile App so families can view digitized classroom lists and use one-click shopping through major retailers right from their phones.
⚠️ Important Note on Self-Serve Editing: If a school asks "Can we edit our supply list ourselves?" the answer is no. Supply lists are not editable through the CMS or App Dashboard — there is no self-serve admin UI for creating or editing them. All supply list creation and edits must route through Edlio Technical Support to TeacherLists.
Supply List Creation and Editing
Because supply lists require professional digitization and retailer catalog mapping, creating and editing supply lists follows a dedicated intake and fulfillment workflow.
How it works on our end
School Submits Request: The school sends their supply list to Edlio Technical Support (usually as a PDF, Word document, Excel spreadsheet, or clear photo attached to a support ticket).
Support Submits to TeacherLists: The Edlio Support team submits the list via TeacherLists' dedicated intake form (app.teacherlists.com/powerloader/edlio) on the school's behalf. We submit the list using the school's Site ID, dashboard name, district ID, and contact details from the ticket.
TeacherLists Digitizes the List: TeacherLists processes, formats, and publishes the list with interactive one-click purchasing across major retailers (Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.).
Turnaround Time: It takes 7–10 business days for the digitized list to show up as published.
Follow-Up: If a school does not see their published list after the 7–10 business day window, they can open a follow-up ticket and Edlio Support will check the status directly with TeacherLists.
Why it's a separate process
Supply lists are not editable through the Edlio CMS or App Dashboard — there is no admin UI or self-serve editor for them. Everything is digitized directly through TeacherLists, and TeacherLists pushes the completed, published list back to your school's web view. This applies equally whether a school is submitting a brand-new list or requesting edits/updates to an existing list — there is no direct-edit path either way; all changes route through Technical Support.
Linking Supply Lists in the Mobile App Menu
Once TeacherLists has published your list, you can make it accessible to parents in the Edlio Mobile App navigation:
Navigate to your EdlioApp Dashboard.
Go to App Builder > Menu Builder (or Quick Links).
Click + Add Link (or Add Menu Item).
Set the Title to
School Supply Lists.Select Web Link / URL as the link type.
Enter your school's dedicated Supply Lists URL (e.g.
https://yourschool.edlioschool.com/apps/suppliesor your direct TeacherLists school URL).Choose to open as an In-App Web View for a seamless in-app browsing experience.
Set Visibility to Public so all parents and community members can access it without logging in.
Click Save and publish your app menu changes.
