The Edlio Mobile App provides a dedicated forms management engine separate from the website CMS. App Forms live inside your school's mobile app, allowing families, students, and staff to fill out surveys and permission slips directly on their smartphones or via web links.
The Edlio App Forms Manager
To access your app forms, log into your mobile management panel at edlioapp.com and navigate to Features > Forms (or click Forms in your central features dashboard):
How to Create an App Form
In the Forms Manager, click the blue + New button in the top-right corner.
Configure the form settings on the Create Form interface:
Icon Image: Click Library to choose an icon from the built-in catalog, or click Upload to provide custom artwork.
Name*: Enter a clear, concise form title that app users will see in their menu.
Custom message after submission: Provide confirmation text displayed to users immediately upon submitting.
Privacy & Status Options:
Provide user with confirmation #: Generates a unique tracking reference number for the respondent.
Do not collect IP addresses: Ensures anonymous responses for sensitive surveys.
Unpublished: Keeps the form hidden while you build and test questions.
Descriptions by App Role: You can provide a general description, or click Create description next to specific roles (Administrator, Parent/Guardian, Staff, Student, Teacher) to show tailored instructions depending on who is logged into the app.
Click Save to proceed to adding fields.
đĄ App Forms Adoption Tip: Every App Form automatically generates a short Web Access URL (e.g. https://edap.ps/a73bf4). You can copy this direct link from the Forms Manager table and share it via Mass Communication text message or email, allowing parents without the app to complete the form seamlessly in their mobile web browser.
