Importing Multiple Quick Links via CSV

Learn how to bulk upload shortcut links into your Edlio App using a CSV spreadsheet template, configure target folders, and verify imported links.

When launching a new school app or updating extensive resource directories, administrators can use the bulk CSV import tool to upload dozens of shortcut links simultaneously rather than entering them individually.

Accessing the Import Wizard

To start the bulk import workflow:

  1. Navigate to Features > Quick Links.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the dashboard root view, click Import.

  3. The Import Quick Links modal window will appear:

Step-by-Step Import Procedure

  1. Download Sample File: Click the Download sample file link in Step 1 to retrieve the official CSV spreadsheet template.

  2. Prepare Your Spreadsheet: Populate the CSV columns with your shortcut data:

    • Title (Required): The name of the link as displayed to families.

    • URL (Required): The destination web address, including https://.

    • Visible: Enter 1 or TRUE for published, 0 or FALSE for unpublished.

    • Website Only: Enter 0 to show across app and web, or 1 for website-only.

  3. Select Destination Folder: Under Step 2, choose whether imported links should be placed in the root directory or mapped directly into an existing folder.

  4. Upload File: In Step 3, click Upload File (or drag and drop your spreadsheet into the dropzone).

  5. Finish Import: Click Continue to process and publish your bulk links.

💡 Pro Tip: Spreadsheet Formatting

Ensure all URLs begin with https:// or http://. Omitting the protocol may cause the importer to reject specific rows or result in broken mobile deep-links.
