For large master schedules, athletic seasons, or school district year-at-a-glance calendars, administrators can bulk import events using a standard CSV spreadsheet file rather than entering each event individually.
Preparing Your Import File
Your event import spreadsheet should include the following standard columns:
Event Title: The title displayed in the app calendar feed.
Start Date & Start Time: Formatted as standard date/time (e.g.
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM).End Date & End Time: Optional for all-day events.
Location: Optional to list information such as campus building, athletic field, or room number.
Description: Event summary or instructions (optional).
Uploading the Import File
In the Edlio App dashboard, go to Features > Calendars.
Click on the destination calendar to view its event grid.
Select Import / Export > Import Events.
Click Choose File to select your
.csvspreadsheet from your computer.Review the field mapping preview to verify columns match correctly.
Click Import to commit the events to your live calendar feed.
đĄ Exporting for Backup: You can export existing calendar events at any time by selecting Import / Export > Export Events to download a complete backup CSV file.
