Keeping your shortcut directory current ensures that families always reach active resources. The Edlio App dashboard allows administrators to modify URLs, change link titles, adjust security permissions, or temporarily unpublish links during seasonal breaks without deleting them.
Editing a Quick Link
To update an existing shortcut link:
Navigate to Features > Quick Links and open the folder containing the link (if applicable).
In the links table, locate the target entry and click the Edit (pen) icon on the right side of the row.
The Edit Quick Link screen will open, displaying the current configuration:
Update Title or URL: Modify the link text or destination web address. Ensure destination web links always include
https://.Replace Media / Icon: Click Select Media to upload a fresh icon or replace an outdated graphic.
Adjust Visibility: Switch the Visible toggle to No to immediately hide the link from app users while preserving its configuration for future reactivation.
Adjust Audience Restrictions: Update the Visible only to dropdown to modify who can access the shortcut.
Click Ok to save your updates.
đ Important Note on Secured Access ("Visible only to")
Audience permissions require an authenticated user login. When modifying visibility rules, ensure your intended audience has login credentials for the mobile app, as unauthenticated visitors cannot view restricted links.
Deleting a Quick Link
To permanently delete a shortcut:
Locate the link row in the table.
Click the red Delete (trash can) icon on the far right.
Confirm the prompt. Once deleted, the link is permanently removed from the mobile app menu.
