🔄 Target Lists are now Groups. As of June 2026, Target Lists have been renamed to Groups in the Edlio app. This is a rename with a redesigned interface, not a new system — all your data is preserved (members, filter rules, restrictions, and communication history remain intact). You do not need to recreate or migrate anything.
Send Message to Classroom Group
Send an app, email, text, or voice message to everyone connected to a classroom by targeting its classroom-synced group.
ℹ️ This was previously called sending to a "Classroom Target List." Same workflow, new name.
Steps
Log in to your admin panel at edlioapp.com.
Go to Mass Communication > New Message.
Compose your message and choose your channels (App, Email, Text, Voice).
In the audience/targeting section, choose Groups (formerly "Target List").
Select the classroom group — classroom-synced groups show a Classroom badge.
Review reachability, then send or schedule.
Tips
Check reachability first. Open the group in People > Groups to see per-channel reachability badges. If Text reachability is low, consider also sending via Email or App.
Mind the relationship setting. The group's Relationship option (Normal, Include Parents, Only Parents, etc.) determines whether students, parents, or both receive the message.
Roster changed today? Use the Sync action on the group before sending to pull the latest classroom roster.
