Student Exclusion List

Updated over 3 months ago

Schools can prevent certain students from being out of class simultaneously due to:

  • Disciplinary incidents between students

  • Behavioral management requirements

  • Safety concerns

  • Administrative policies

Managing Student Exclusions

Student Exclusions allows administrators to view groups of students who cannot be issued hall passes simultaneously. Groups can be searched by student name.

Two or more students can be added to a group. Notes text can optionally be included.

Setting Expiration Dates:

  • Check "This group should be deleted automatically" to enable auto-expiration

  • Select an expiration date when the group should be automatically removed

  • System prevents setting expiration dates in the past

  • Groups will automatically delete themselves on the specified date without administrator intervention

How Student Exclusions Work

When you attempt to issue a hall pass to a student who is a member of a student exclusion group, the system checks if another member currently has an active hall pass.

If another member has an active hall pass, a warning message displays. You can decide to "Cancel" or "Create anyway".
