Using Conversations Effectively

Message Management

  • Type messages in the text bar at the bottom of the conversation window

  • Click the arrow button to send messages

  • All conversation participants can see and respond to messages

  • Conversations are saved and can always be recovered through the Dashboard

Conversation Types

  • One-on-one messages: Direct communication between two people

  • Group conversations: Multiple participants can all communicate together

  • Public conversations: Can be joined by others based on administrator settings

  • Private conversations: Limited to invited participants only

Participant Management

  • Participants can be added after conversation creation

  • Group conversations work similar to texting - everyone can communicate

  • New participants can see conversation history when added

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • If you can't create conversations, check with your administrator about permission settings

  • If you can't join a conversation, it may require approval or may not be set to public

  • If conversations aren't working during certain times, administrators may have set time restrictions

  • For technical issues, contact your administrator rather than using the conversation reporting feature
