The Email & Phone Activity and Monthly Totals reporting tools in Edlio Mass Communication provide real-time delivery logs, channel breakdowns, and historical transmission statistics. School and district leaders can verify receipt across voice, text, and email channels, monitor district-wide usage, and manage subscriber preferences directly from the dashboard.
đ Monthly Send Totals: Access high-level billing and usage statistics at any time by clicking Monthly Totals in the upper right header of the Mass Communication Messages dashboard.
Viewing monthly delivery totals
To check aggregate message volume across all communication channels:
Navigate to Mass Communication > Messages in your EdlioApp dashboard.
Click the Monthly Totals button in the upper right corner (adjacent to Templates).
In the Monthly Send Totals modal, review your organization's transmission numbers broken down by month and channel (Total Voice Minutes, Total Voice Calls, Total Emails, and Total Texts).
Reading individual recipient activity
To audit individual message delivery, recipient responses, and transmission outcomes:
Navigate to Mass Communication > Email & Phone Activity from the left sidebar navigation.
Select the channel tab you wish to audit: Email, Text, or Voice.
Review the delivery log table columns:
Date: Timestamp when the transmission was dispatched.
Event: The message title, campaign name, or event trigger.
Creator/Actor: The administrator or staff member who initiated the broadcast.
Status: The final transmission outcome reported by the carrier or mail server.
Delivery status reference
The Status column indicates the exact delivery state of each transmission:
Sent | The message successfully departed Edlio's servers and was accepted by the recipient carrier or mail server. |
Queued | The broadcast is currently in the dispatch queue and will process within seconds to minutes depending on recipient list size. |
Delivered | The telecom provider or recipient mailbox confirmed final delivery to the end user's device or inbox. |
Bounced | The receiving mail system rejected the address (invalid email, full inbox, or mailbox disabled). Check the student or contact profile. |
Dropped | The carrier or provider declined delivery due to a previous hard bounce or because the user previously unsubscribed. |
Spam / Filtered | The receiving server filtered the message into spam. Ensuring your custom sending domain has SPF, DKIM, and DMARC verified prevents this. |
Managing unsubscribe & resubscribe preferences
Administrators can manage communication opt-outs directly from the activity dashboard:
Click the Unsubscribe / Resubscribe button in the upper-right corner of the Email & Phone Activity page.
Enter the recipient's email address or phone number to verify their current status or clear an accidental unsubscribe.
Respect recipient opt-out preferences in compliance with FCC, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM regulations.
