Import Staff/Teacher/Administrator Accounts

This is a guide that covers how to import staff and create accounts

1. Select PEOPLE:



2. The Next step is to choose IMPORT:



3. Next Select IMPORT PEOPLE:



4. At this stage, you will see a screen that lists what is required for an app account to be created. There are many options but the minimum requirements are labeled with an * . Download and use the file that is formatted for importing people into the app:



​5. Once you have the file updated with your staff please Drag and Drop the file or you can use the 'Click here to browse' option to upload the file.
​The system will check the file to ensure it is in the proper format. If you have any invalid records please see the error listed to correct any errors before proceeding with the next stage of importing.


​6. If you see the Summary shows '0 invalid record(s)' you can move forward with creating the accounts:

Create App Users: This assigns the app access to the users you are importing.

Create Dashboard Users: This should be used for your staff that needs access to the backend of the app only (Teachers and Administrators)

If you are a district app you can assign the staff member(s) to multiple sites within the district here:



7. Now that you have uploaded the file and configured the account creation you can click 'Continue' at the bottom right.

This page will show you any errors that need to be addressed and give you one last look at the data before you click 'Import'

You have successfully imported your staff members. You can review these users by going to People > Manage People > Staff.
