Common terms used when working in or discussing Edlio's App

Edlio App Portal/Multi-Tenant app: built under Edlio’s Apple Developer Account

Individual App Single Tenant app, fully branded app in the app stores - built with the client’s ADA and Google IP agreement

Secured Access to a feature within the app that offers 2-way conversations, a login page for privacy, targeted content, targeted push notifications, and the wellness screener.

ADA Apple Developer Account - This is required for an individual app.

SFTP A type of data sync where clients have to work with their Student Information System to map files and send to our system. This is a nightly sync

API A direct connection to certain Student Information System that Edlio can pull the data directly from on a nightly basis

SSO Single Sign On - we offer SSO to clients with the app. This allows their users to login with another platform so they do not have to create another password

Google IP (Intellectual Property) This is needed for any account with Individual App. This is a requirement by Google to allow Edlio to publish an app on the school/district’s behalf

PWA (Progressive Web App) This is the web version of the app. It can be accessed on a desktop. The web app has all the same features and functionality as the app on your phone
